In the article the necessity of rapid modernization of the Russian economy by improving the effectiveness of research and their application in industrial production through a system of organizational and economic support for the commercialization of scientific and technological activities are revealed. The mechanism of multi-criteria selection of promising research and justify the system of their commercialization. The results may be useful in both scientific and industrial organizations.
