Improving the quality of life of the population as the main objective of the state

The concept of quality of life began to be used in the scientific literature since the 70-ies of XX century, although the problems related to the content of this concept were discussed. The basic ideas about the meaning of life and human nature were formulated back in ancient times and the middle ages. Almost all of the concept of quality of life considered moderation in consumption of material goods, assisting others. The quality of life of the population in many respects depends on the policy of the state. Taking into account diversity of the quality of life of the population, the state policy to improve the quality of life of the population should be long-term versatile character and be aimed at growth of aggregate demand in the country, which is the basis of growth of the economy.
