In connection with the existing tendencies of demographic development the problem of reproduction and deterioration of qualitative structure of labor potential has got recently still large urgency. In the present job with the help of statistical methods the basic demographic parameters are analyzed; the distinctions in demographic development of separate regions of the Central Federal district are revealed. In result the regions with most and least favorable tendencies of demographic development were selected.
