In the article on the basis of the analysis of state of development of retail payments in the Russian sector of the Internet the comparative assessment of three options of application in calculations of payment tools (plastic cards, electronic checks and purses of electronic money) is carried out and evaluate their effectiveness in several areas (communicative, economic, infrastructure, organizational, social, technical) is estimated.
