In the article the specifics of innovative processes in the agro-industrial complex of Russia is investigated, the system of indicators of an assessment of development of regional innovative system is considered, the classification of types of innovations in agrarian and industrial complex is given, the ways of increase of innovative activity in the agrarian sector of the regions of the Russian Federation are offered.
