Importance The information infrastructure of management will enable to form the structure of scientific and technical product market under Russia’s achieving global technological leadership by 2035. The development of information and communication infrastructure will enhance the competitiveness of Russian economy and facilitate meeting the information needs.
Objectives The study aims to identify trends in internet-based technology development in Russia, analyze the number of internet users and justify the functional and economic substance of modern information systems in the era of knowledge management.
Methods The scientific research rests on the general scientific methodology, which involves the use of logical, systems, statistical and program-oriented approach to solving the specified problem.
Results I analyzed the current state and trends in the development of internet-based technologies in Russia, established organizational and managerial mechanisms of using the advantage of Big Data in economic entities’ operations, offered a model solution to Big Data technology introduction into the management system of organizations. The article substantiates that the information infrastructure of management is a link in the evolutionary chain of approaches to providing access to a large volume of data operation under knowledge economy development.
Conclusions The Big Data concept has gained momentum and become popular in the field of information technology. Many organizations intensively use data array to implement efficient management decisions and new technologies, striving to cut costs through improved machine virtualization and reduced time for administration.
