Importance The article considers prospects for green economy in Turkmenistan and possibilities of using local renewable energy resources.
     Objectives The study aims to analyze and calculate the potential of renewable power resources in Turkmenistan, to define the most energy-saving systems of renewable energy sources in managing the investment activity at the regional level, to set priorities in the ecological business.
     Methods I apply mathematical modeling and economic methods to analyze various aspects of investment activity in regions.
     Results The article describes potential resources of renewable energy resources, presents technical specification for servicing renewable power facilities to solve the problems of green economy.
     Conclusions and Relevance Based on the calculations of the solar-energy resources, and taking into account the intensity of solar radiation, geographic, climatic and adverse weather conditions. I have calculated the energy potential that will enable to prepare a feasibility study for building solar power stations.
