Authors offered the mechanism of a choice of the most effective method of economic protection of the innovative projects, developed on the basis of the analysis of life cycle of space equipment. By means of the constructed models of financial stability of the organizations the main problems inherent in insurance of space risks were revealed. The proposals on the organization of economic protection of projects in space activity are developed.
