In the article reliability and profitability of placement of money in Perm banks are analyzed. As a result of the analysis three groups of banks are allocated: reliable, risky and average. The mathematical model and concrete example of a problem of optimum placement of money on deposits of banks is offered. On the results of research the optimum ratio of risk and profitability of investment is calculated.
