Demographic determinants of the economic development of Russia

The article examines the impact of contemporary demographic processes on the economic development of Russia. Completed forecast changes in the working age population for the period to 2023. The estimation of the possible consequences of reducing is supplied of labor in the labor market. It is shown the main ways to alleviate the impact of this factor.
